Shem Creek Explorers (Ages 5-9)

Nestled in the heart of Shem Creek, this program offers young adventurers the chance to explore tidal creeks, observe local wildlife, and engage in hands-on activities that spark curiosity and wonder. From crabbing to kayaking, each session is a new opportunity for discovery.

Daniel Island Explorers (Ages 5-9)

For families residing on Daniel Island, our explorers program brings nature closer to home. Children will delve into the island’s unique ecosystems, participate in fossil hunting, and learn about the rich biodiversity that surrounds them.

Lowcountry Jr. Naturalist (Ages 9-12)

Tailored for older children with a budding interest in ecology, this program delves deeper into environmental education. Participants will engage in citizen science projects, wildlife observation, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the Lowcountry’s delicate habitats.

Safety and Experience

Safety and education are at the forefront of our programs. Our experienced team of environmental educators is certified in sea kayaking, lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR. With over 30 years of experience, Coastal Expeditions ensures that each child embarks on adventures that are both safe and enriching.
