EXPLORING THE PLACES WE LOVE

Since 1992, the guides at Coastal Expeditions have shared the beauty of the Lowcountry through ecotours all along the coast of South Carolina. We know these creeks, rivers and barriers island well, and we love to get people out to see the things we love about Charleston and Beaufort.

Protecting the Places We Explore

A portion of your outing supports local nesting loggerhead sea turtles, seabird rookeries, environmental education and veterans programs through the Coastal Expeditions Foundation. In 2024, over 5,000 students were sponsored on environmental field trips and 2,105 loggerhead sea turtle nests were protected through contributions the CE Foundation.

Because of you, we are able to make meaningful environmental impacts in the Lowcountry!

Coastal Expeditions Foundation

Established in 2018, the Coastal Expeditions Foundation is a natural extension of the heart path that we’ve been on since our company was created 30 years ago. We don’t just want to explore the beautiful places in the world, we want to be a part of their protection and conservation.

FIVE WATERSIDE LOCATIONS

Let’s Get Out There.

Our guides are always scouting Lowcountry creeks & rivers to make sure that we’re offering trips where the action is happening, and we often change our tours based on the season.

Something we love for spring?  Bulls Island.  And we have several ways to see it.
