AWENDAW CREEK PADDLE+HIKE

Awendaw Creek Paddle+Hike
Nestled between Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge and Francis Marion National Forest, Awendaw Creek is where forest meets saltmarsh—home to dolphins, black skimmers, fiddler crabs, and more. After a 4-mile tide-assisted paddle, we’ll hike the Awendaw Passage of the Palmetto Trail, a rare bluffside route with sweeping marsh views. Along the way, our naturalist guides will share the ecology and history of this rich coastal landscape.
