Monday-Wednesday: 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m. Depart for Camping
Friday: 4 p.m. Return to St. Helena Campus

Overview
Ages 12-14
Summer Camp (includes camping trip)
Come out with Coastal Expeditions for a week of outdoor adventure! At this camp, you can expect to learn backcountry skills, build a community, and have fun in wild spaces!
• Three days of skills building, followed by 2-day camping trip
• Explore places like St. Helena Island, Hunting Island and St. Phillips Island!
• For students that are interested in outdoor recreation & marine biology
• Led by two of Coastal Expeditions’ top naturalist guides

What To Pack & Wear
Once you are registered, you’ll receive an email with additional information about how to prepare and what to pack each day.
Coastal Expeditions provides the guide service, kayaks (and related gear), tents, all meals/snacks (Wednesday-Friday), transportation
Guide Safety & Training
All Coastal Expeditions guides hold certifications in first aid, CPR and lifeguarding. As year-round leaders of day camps and school field trips, our staff is well-trained to keep safety at the forefront. Children wear PFDs while they are on each daily expedition.
Our captains hold 100-ton master captain licenses from the USCG. Coastal Expeditions boats are custom-built vessels that receive yearly inspections from the U.S. Coast Guard.
Cancellation & Weather Policy
There is a 30-day cancellation policy for summer camps at Coastal Expeditions.
This is a rain-or-shine program, but certain weather conditions (i.e. hurricanes or tropical storms) may cause us to cancel.
