Join Coastal Expeditions on a special beach drop to the north end of Bulls Island within Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge.
Within this 66,000 acre refuge, about 3,000 loggerhead sea turtle nests are laid each summer. It takes a team of wildlife technicians and volunteers working daily from dawn to dusk to protect these nests from big tides and predation.
Tickets from this beach drop will go towards funding this program for the 2025 nesting season. It’s a fun way to learn about the program and explore one of Charleston’s wild beaches.
