Over the last 25 years, Coastal Expeditions guides have been leading groups on camping trips to barrier islands and within Francis Marion National Forest.  As skilled kayakers and outdoors-people, they are well-equipped to make your adventure enjoyable, safe and fun.

Join one of the trips that we offer throughout the year or plan a customized itinerary  for your group.  We are set up to provide everything you need for a memorable expedition, including tents, food, water, paddling gear and/or boat transportation.

Coastal Expeditions is the local guide service for many international touring companies, scouting groups, universities and schools, including REI Adventures.

Capers Island (a barrier island just north of Charleston) and the bottomland hardwood forests of Francis Marion National Forest are are most frequented camping destinations.
