Learn to Make a Fire Using a Bow Drill
Bow Drilling is an ancient technique used to start fires and was widely used by most of our countries native tribes. In this class of our survival series you will learn how to bow drill on your own! We will take you through the step by step process of bow drilling and all the necessary details to be successful and confident in creating friction fire. Lets tap into your wild side once again!
What you will learn:
- How to create a perfect tinder bundle
- Making a top rock
- What materials to gather and use
- How to properly start and maintain a fire
- Tool and skills safety
- And of course all the fine points of Bow Drilling a coal
This class does involve a moderate amount of physical activity and is more suitable for adults and teens. However, Children are more then welcome to join and participate.
