CAPE ROMAIN BIRDING EXPEDITIONWith 293 bird resident and migratory bird species that are classified within the refuge each year you will be delighted with the birding opportunities, both on the boat and on Bulls Island. This is an excellent excursion for true birders and curious naturalists, with chances to see Long-billed Curlews, Wood Storks, Marbled Godwits, White Pelicans and so much more. CAPERS ISLAND NATURE ECOTOURCharter a morning or afternoon to Capers Island for a boat ride through part of the largest contiguous stretch of undeveloped shoreline to a State Heritage Preserve barrier island! You'll enjoy indescribable views of the estuary and acres of oyster beds as you travel to Capers Island. Once you arrive at Capers, you'll have the island to yourself to beach comb, swim, bird and relax. When you're ready to go, your captain will pick you up for another epic cruise through the estuary. For larger groups, like Boy Scout Troops, that are camping on the island, we provide drop off and pick up service of campers and gear. This is a safe, reliable way to get to Capers Island for those that are not approaching via kayak or personal boat. We can arrange service from 2-49 people.

WACCAMAW NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE
Oh, the birds you'll see! Swallow-tailed Kites have decided that the rivers and forests that make up this refuge are ideal for summer breeding, and the number of kites that glide overhead are, at times amazing. Add in Red-cockaded Woodpeckers (endangered), wildflowers and the chance to see a bear and we're hooked. This is one of the most botanically diverse areas of the Lowcountry and it is being stewarded beautifully. Take a ride through this blackwater refuge and feel as if you've gone back in time.
ACE BASIN NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE
If you want to escape into a pristine environment that has Lowcountry written all over it, a trip into the ACE Basin is in order. It's like the Amazon, only it is at your back door and it has a southern drawl. Birding, alligators, dolphins, rice fields, plantation history and more. You may want to pack boiled peanuts and sweet tea for this adventure.
CONGAREE NATIONAL PARK- 7 SISTERS
As featured in Garden & Gun, this trip combines kayaking with boat support. We'll take Skimmer, our skiff that has been customized to carry kayaks and gear, into the Congaree Swamp and get deep into the forest. Then our guides will lead the group via kayak through the cypress-tupelo old growth forest to find the Seven Sisters and gently approach them. Congaree is the largest old-growth bottomland hardwood forest in the United States; You'll be forever changed after this call of the wild.
