ESCAPE INTO THE SALTWATER ESTUARY
FOLLY BEACH OUTPOST
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR PARADISE, YOU'LL FIND IT HERE
If wildlife and the chance to see Bottlenose Dolphins are why you want to get on the water, this is the place to visit.
Our Folly Creek Outpost is located on a quiet waterway that serves as a refuge for shorebirds like Great Blue Herons, American Oystercatchers and Black Skimmers. Blue Crabs, Bonnethead Sharks, schools of Menhadden, Spot-tail Bass, Shrimp and much, much more live beneath the surface of this nutrient-rich estuary, making it the ultimate "all-you-can-eat-24-hour-buffet." Thriving oyster beds- bioindicators of clean water- emerge at low tide along the banks of Spartina grass. Often, we see pods of Bottlenose Dolphins swimming and feeding in this network of creeks, and it is breathtaking to watch them from the vantage point of a kayak.
The Folly Beach Outpost is perfect for nature lovers, dolphin seekers and anyone looking for a laid-back, Folly-kind-of-day on the water!
