YOU HAVEN'T SEEN CHARLESTON
until you've seen it by water.

In 1992, Coastal Expeditions introduced sea kayaking to Charleston.  Since that time, we have taken people like you out into the saltwater estuaries and blackwater rivers of the Lowcountry -by boat, kayak and paddleboard- while keeping with our mission of environmental stewardship and education.

Throughout the year, our experienced guides create trips that are designed to take you beautiful places that will leave you inspired and energized.  Spanning the coast from the waters of Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge and the Santee Delta to the floodplain of the ACE Basin, Coastal Expeditions knows the way.

Whether it's a fun dolphin kayak tour down Shem Creek or a stand-up paddleboarding excursion in Folly Creek, a family tour from the Isle of Palms or a multi-day adventure into Charleston's nearby wilderness, our guides will make sure that you have a safe and memorable experience.
